I would never in a million years have expected to be touring with a group like MOSAIC. I thought that 19 years of Classical piano training and a few little private songs written in my journal would be the extent of my musical pursuit…but God had other plans. After resisting the quiet tug on my heart for a long time, I finally changed my college major to Music…and God began to build my confidence and refine my musical skills in preparation for this ministry. Serving Him in worship leading and songwriting has been an unexpected honor and joy.
I am most often musically inspired by the way God reveals Himself through Nature: its beauty, its lessons of patience and simplicity, its submission to its Creator… Every little thing that from color combinations, to birds and bugs, to international flavors, to the vast variety of human toes, I find fascinating and wonderful! Since Creation is so diverse – reflecting a mysteriously awesome God – it delights me to discover new twists on harmony, eclectic rhythm, creative melodies, and I rejoice in all sorts of different sounds. Being in Nashville has fostered a new love for bluegrass and folk music.

When I’m not on the road, I enjoy life through homemaking, exploring the outdoors, playing pranks, trying new crafts, cooking and eating, writing, reading, and becoming better friends with my sweet husband, Patrick.
